Born on the sixth day of May in one thousand nine hundred and eighty-six, artist Daniel Excell was born in the town of Mbalmayo. His real name was NKOA MBIDA Daniel, and he was born into a totally pious family, with a father who was a chorister and in charge of several choirs in which he was able to put all his musical know-how to good use. The ambitious and visionary young prodigy Excell envisioned a radiant future following in the footsteps of his valiant father, whose actions and talent left their mark on his childhood.

Persecuted by life's obstacles, the young musician stubbornly rose to every challenge in order to convey his emotions, good humor, experiences and talent through his melodious, gentle voice.

Initiated by his father from an early age (10), Daniel Excel joined the young Harvesters for Christ group in 1996.

A group of young Christians based in the central region of Cameroon. He is the youngest member of the group as a dancer and chorister. His lightning talent and strong desire to put his modest experience to good use made him an indispensable part of the group, despite his young age and "small stature". His various achievements in the group gave him a privileged status, so much so that at this premature age he always set about writing his own songs, which attracted the attention of his fathers.

Passionate about computers, he converted this into learning a musical instrument that would enable him to better follow his musical career.

His strong talent enabled him a few years later to pose as a singer in the two albums of the Jeunes Moissonneurs pour Christ group, to which he still belongs.

Never one to go unnoticed when it came to gospel music, Daniel Excell made no secret of his thirst to acquire extensive knowledge in the field. To this end, he had the privilege of working with the famous ODILE NGASKA in a training program for young singers.

For purely personal reasons, the young prodigy arrived in the economic capital in 2008, where he settled in defensively.

Daniel 's arrival in the economic capital was not without its bumps and bumps, but he never lets himself be dominated by the trials and tribulations of life, which he never ceases to see as the road to glory.

Always hopeful of a better, rose-scented tomorrow, young Daniel meets SAM SHEKINA, with whom he doesn't hesitate to "extract" additional knowledge. His strong determination and desire to work struck the famous SHEKINA so hard that the latter accompanied him in the production of his very first solo album, " Dieu n'oublie personne".

Released in 2014, this masterpiece features 6 tracks that reflect his life, his journey and his firm assurance of the things he had long hoped for.

His collaboration with SAM SHEKINA gives him access to the world of gospel music in Douala and everywhere else. The young artist was later mentored by ARMAND CRYSTAL and ELLA SARAH, with whom he never missed an opportunity to show humility in his apprenticeship

The album " Dieu n'oublie personne"features guest vocals by GRACE SINDANI and URSULE.

The album was a huge hit with the public, earning Daniel Excell the 2015 gospel star awards musical revelation award for his track " psaumes de feu", and the Best Male Artist award in 2016.

With this album, Daniel Excell, the humble servant of the world's public through his music, rubs shoulders and shares stages with some of the great artists of the gospel world.

But the success of this album has not prevented the young prodigy from working even harder to meet the expectations of the general public. Very captivating on stage, artist Daniel Excell never misses an opportunity to sketch out as many dance steps as possible on a dance floor to whet his charming audience.Ambitious and proud to collaborate with his entourage, he manages himself as much as possible to assist young people wishing to venture into the field.He also sets up the Excelle Attitude, a full orchestra that accompanies him in all his shows.

To satisfy his fans as usual, the humble servant of the gospel world is back in the studio to produce a new musical galette , "Uploading...", recorded in Cameroon and France, a veritable melodic bomb for his listeners. The album, called AFRO GOSPEL WORLDMUSIC and featuring rapper Ossan from France and Joe Patenzo from Cameroon, is a blend of sounds from here and abroad. A release eagerly awaited by the public and the media.

In addition to his music, Daniel Excell participates in and organizes many charities. In fact, he is the founder of a humanitarian movement , "SOS FONDATION SOLIDARITE ", which he intends to expand in the coming years to meet the expectations of this underprivileged public.

The "SOS FONDATION SOLIDARITE " has several projects in the pipeline to help street children and orphans.

However, all that remains is to wish our humble servant, who never ceases to improve in order to satisfy his huge audience, a very good journey and a glorious future.
